Brandon Marshall - WR - Bears
New York City police will not bring charges against Brandon Marshall for his role in an early March nightclub brawl, according to attorney Harvey Steinberg.
Considering Marshall 's history of violence against women, the Harlem victim must have had an awfully weak case. Marshall allegedly "cold-cocked" Christin Myles , a former basketball player at San Diego State University, after his wife was hit in the face by a thrown bottle. Marshall and the Bears have been confident all along that his name would be cleared. He should be in no danger of NFL discipline now that police have opted against charges.

LeSean McCoy - RB - Eagles
Eagles signed LeSean McCoy to a five-year, $45 million extension, including $20.765 million guaranteed.
The Eagles continue to succeed at locking up young talent. McCoy fell just shy of Arian Foster , who landed $22.5 million in his five-year deal. With one year left on his rookie contract, McCoy is now locked up through the 2017 season as the feature back in Andy Reid 's offense. Yet to turn 24 years old, McCoy is vying with Calvin Johnson and Aaron Rodgers as the most valuable Dynasty league assets. A worthy successor to Brian Westbrook, McCoy has averaged 1,648 scrimmage yards and 14.5 touchdowns per in two seasons as a starter.

Jonathan Vilma - LB - Saints
Suspended Saints MLB Jonathan Vilma is suing commissioner Roger Goodell for defamation of character.
Vilma 's complaint charges Goodell with making public statements concerning the linebacker which were "false, defamatory and injurious to Vilma 's professional and personal reputation." The suit also claims Goodell failed to turn over evidence. The NFL's investigation announced that Vilma , as captain of the defense, aided coordinator Greg Williams in establishing and funding the team's infamous bounty program. Vilma's suit won't help his chances of playing in 2012.

Lately I have determined I HAVE to get my ass moving. I found enough people who seemed vaguely interested that I picked up a membership at a club that doesn't charge extra for court use.

Today at lunch I met up with someone and we played for nearly an hour. We played one game to 21, and one to 15. I won both. But I most definitely got my ass kicked.

I used to play almost daily, but at some point noticed that I just had to take a day or two off and it would seem that when I restarted, I was almost....stronger...and faster. I knew nothing of "recovery".

That said....I still know nothing of recovery periods. Can I play again tomorrow? Am I supposed to wait? Speak to me sports gurus!

Right now I'm locked into Ray Rice for my first round (Pick 10), and Jimmy Graham for my10th round

I'm trying to decide between these 3 for my last keeper:
Larry Fitzgerald for my 2nd round
Darren McFadden for my 3rd round
Wes Welker for my 7th round

What gives me the best shot to repeat? I won last year with Matt Moore as my QB (Drafted Peyton Manning and Josh Freeman).

Here are some details that may or may not be important:
1)  We do a live draft, but one member will be absent.  My solution to this is to have a google doc where he can see the last bid on a particular player and make a bid if he wants.  I know this will be a pain but one of the members volunteered for the position.
2)  Since we are all doing this for the first time, I was considering using a list of auction values (ESPN/CBS/other) and distribute that to everyone...and saying that the minimum bid is half of the projected value for players in the top 100 or so.  I just don't want people messing around with low bids for Rice/Foster/McCoy.  We'll have plenty of time for that in the latter portion of the draft.

Any other things to offer?
