If stranded on an Island what could you live off of for one year every day and not get sick of
Me
Pizza from this pizza joint around the corner from where I used to live in Baltimore (Mamma Lucias and it's not the chain)
Beer - Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Offline
Food - Peta - a cottage cheese concoction surrounded by toasted filo-dough type dough that's been smothered in butter - something my Albanian Grandmother used to make for me.
Beer - MINE!
Offline
Food - Spinach & Mushroom deep-dish pizza from Giordano's in Chi-town
Beer - Stone Arrogant Bastard
Offline
Oooh, nice choices Tycoon. Can I come visit from my island?
Offline
Food - Bacon. Let's face it, everything should have a "bacon-flavored" option. Make it a BLT and all my nutritional needs are met.
Beer - Guinness
Offline
Food- Potato-skins: bacon, cheese and potato all fried... can't beat that
Beer- Im 15 years old so...
Offline
Food - Chocolate sauce on a nice pair and I second the bacon vote, but I rarely ruin it with other ingredients
Beer - Any good double IPA (Six Rivers Double IPA and Mad River Double IPA are great, both from Humboldt County Brewers - NorCal)
Offline
I've often wondered why they don't make women's perfume smell like charred beef....
Offline
Food: Teriyaki chicken from Jasmine Garden
Beer: Rum. Brugal Anejo. I cheat.

Maybe this is too literal of an interpretation of the question, but here goes…
Since I'm going to be on the island for a year, I'm going to have to go with a light beer — one of my preferred beers is a local one called Bully Porter, but I can't imagine drinking it all day, every day. So give me a bottomless keg of Miller Lite.
As for food, I think I'm gonna go with Frosted Mini Wheats. Sweet flavor, but not so sweet that you can't eat then when you're not in the mood for sweets. Again, not my favorite food, but one that I think I could eat every day for a year.
Offline
Buffalo wings with ranch included of coarse.
I'm 18 so I'm not of legal age to drink but by this time in life most of my counter parts have had there share of beers but I have yet to drink. (By choice)
So give me some red bull or water will do.

Hehe. It's all about how you ask the question!
Besides, I've got too many favorite foods (and beers) to narrow it down to just one for a YEAR.
One of my favorite foods is Au Gratin Potatoes (just the Betty Crocker kind). I'll stick with Bully Porter as one of my favorite beers just because if any of you ever find yourself in the Midwest you should really give it a try.

Well Balt Mike had a great pick with the Sierra Nevada, great beer. As did Lyle with the Guinness, another great beer. For me, I dunno. I'm easy to please, I'd probably be happy with my ol' favorite of PBR.
As for food...man, I dunno. I figure you just stick me with a rooster and a few hens and I'll go from there. Have all the chicken and eggs I could want.

Man that is a close second for me. I love me some In & Out burgers. I wish they had them out east.
I might also have to consider the Red Robin Banzai Burger with the never ending fries. I don't think I can ever get tired of that.

I go for a double double and animal style fries. Then I am in heaven!!
I have a friend who loves the flying dutchman - two patties with two slices of cheese, nothing else; kind of strange

There is a German beer that i can only get at a bar here called The Bayou where they stock over 200 beers from around the world. It's called Aventinus Dopplebock. it's a dark hefeweizen, and it is GREAT. If you are able to find it wherever you live i strongly recommend it.
As far as food goes, i'd take a Mexican combo plate, loaded with cheese.
i'm stranded on a friggin island, i might as well let myself go.

this is easy.....
food: Taco Jalisco chicken tacos with cheese, a jalapeno for each taco with hotsauce and everything from my favorite Mexican food in Vallejo, CA .... you know, the truck on Broadway. (there have actually been times where I ate these everyday of the week.. so I know)
drink: I don't drink alcohol... so I would want coca cola in a bottle from the same place, or Propel.. any flavor. I would have to go with Propel to avoid dehydration. I once tried to cross the desert to a mountain as a kid in Arizona with a small ice chest full of soda... almost didn't make it.

Food: Tex Mex
Beer: Tsing Tao ( Pronounced "Ching Dow" ) Beer from China

Food: Five Guys Burger (I've had In-N-Out, Five Guys is better)
Beer: Maudite, or just about any Unibroue beer. The 16th anniversary is excellent for anyone who hasn't tried it.
