Dwight Freeney... in or out?

According to profootballtalk.com he's a major question mark:

Gregg Rosenthal wrote:

Freeney has a torn ligament in his right ankle that "will make it difficult to play if he plays at all."   (That sound you just heard was Saints tackle Jermon Bushrod jumping for joy.)

Then again there's this report from Sports Illustrated (via the AP):

The Associated Press wrote:

The Indianapolis Colts insist Pro Bowl defensive end Dwight Freeney has a low ankle sprain, not a torn ligament, and that he remains questionable for next weekend's Super Bowl.

Re: Dwight Freeney... in or out?

He said he will play unless he feels that he will hurt his team. So I guess what that means is that if he doesn't think he can play at full speed he won't play at all. With a torn ligament in the ankle there is little chance he can play at the level he wants to. I say he is a no go.
