Anyone know of or have a useful schedule analyzer with strong matchups for players and the like.

Did you ever find what you needed? I am looking for the same thing. About to resort to doing it myself.

I had the draft guide on rotoworld last year ($15) and it had a chart with strength of schedule for each position for each team. if i remember correctly there was also a playoff ranking option so you could see what the matchups were for the last few weeks but I am not positive about this part.

Honestly...I think schedules are over-rated. There's just too many variables to figure out how a matchup is gonna look in November or December. Course, thats just my opinion.

Strength of schedule can't truly be assessed until a few weeks into the season... For those who roll defenses or kickers week in and week out, its a great strategy.
Then again... Strength of schedule with some additional knowledge (ie scheme changes, new coordinato, personnel changes, etc) is important. Can't become gospel, but on the other hand, it can't be ignored.

Damn it's getting real scary but I find myself agreeing with xlledx more often than not lately LOL
Problem is that schedule analysis is usually based upon last years performance. As Ed pointed out, last year is last year ... you need to wait and see what this year brings.

It definitely holds some water though. Like take Detroit and Kansas City and Oakland. All of those defenses are going to be terrible until they start signing or drafting defensive talent. Now, whether I go out and draft an Early Doucet because he plays Detroit in Week 14 (hypothetically although I think last year the Cardinals played St Louis in Week 16!) is a different matter. But if I can get a good deal on Beanie Wells (who was on my radar anyways) SoS just has that added bonus. I think it's good to know whose playing who and favorable matchups on bye weeks and stuff but I take like I do all fantasy advice, unless its objective (i.e. Magic Formula) with a grain of salt.
Use it as a tool to success not as Gospel truth. Theres a median everywhere.
