I would not trade Witten and Colston for Fitz. Fitz has a Warner retiring problem. Leinart has not been impressive so far. I like having Witten and Colston on my team more than Fitz as they would be more productive that Fitz.

you can afford it but he is getting the better part of the deal...maybe. Colston shares and will continue to share. He will be up and down week to week. Witten has to block and you'll be starting Finley over him. Fitz is a man among boys. Matt will get him the ball. The Cards will win less but Fitz will still put up consistent numbers. Think about it at least.

I would say that having: Colston, Wayne, Rice, & Witten...
is superior to: Fitz, Wayne, Rice, and Carlson/Finley...
Therefore, I would not do this trade.
Fitz is good, but he's not that good. Especially if Leinart is the one throwing the ball.

I agree, dont do it. At 3 pts/recept witten is still relevant and Fitz and Colston are about equal with Warner gone.
If Boldin leaves Arizona it could be worth it if you have faith in Finley who has missed a lot of games so far.
