Congrats to Chuck, owner of the "Go Brent Favre" team that posted 636 total points (ranked 68th among the 300,000+ who signed up with NFL.com) to take the $450+ prize total. Second place (and no prize cash) went to captnada's shittooth express (classy!)
Chuck had signed up for both leagues, so he won the Free league as well. Second in the free league (552 points) was Crown me.
Lyle finished 33rd in the Free League and 38th in the Money League
I finished 41st in the Free league and 47th in the Money League.
Maybe next year.
Thanks for playing everybody!

*sigh* I started out so strong. Then it went downhill starting in week 2.

Hey, guys, Chuck here. I haven't been trash talking, mostly so no one would check out my team and snipe my strategy: Get some points in round 1, then dump everyone and put all your eggs in one basket. I had 7 Colts and Saints in Round 2, and filled in the last spot in Round 3. If either team had lost, I'd have had a below-average team, but I figured in a "winner-take-all" league, there was no reason to have a good-not-great team.
Plus, as a Vikings fan, having lots of Saints made the pain of this Post Season a little more bearable.

Well done sir.

Well played. Way to put your emotions in check and play against your team.
I on the other hand ran out of Ravens after the loss to the Colts.

The multiplier is definitely a strategy that has to be dealt with. My congratulations to Tschuk who had the guts to dump second round multipliers and look at the big picture. Well played.

Agreed. His only mistake: his wife knows about the money.

Naw, she's cool. And she's had to work a lot lately, and I've been stuck with the kids, so she said to me yesterday, "You should spend that fantasy money however you want." Sounds like a trip to Best Buy to me! I just hope it wasn't a hint for Valentine's Day. . . .

Dude that was a TOTAL hint for Valentine's Day. If you don't get her at least a necklace you're in the sh!thouse for a while. She may not tell you that you're in the sh!thouse, but trust me, you'll be in the sh!thouse.
And women never forget. Keep that in mind when you're shopping for body soaps at Bath and Body works during the first NFL Sunday of 2010.

I'm thinking more like Victoria's Secret. Win-Win!

Congrats man, well played. I was sitting on the top spot come week 3 and was worried about some of the top 10 with other players like Manning....You scored some monster points to take the final week. Great job (sigh
