Topic: 2002 albums of the year.

IMO there is no more diverse genre of music in the world and no other form of music that can offer such great live experiances. Safe to say I always say metal is superior to all other forms of music, that's a fact that can't really be debated.

So I give you my top 10's going back to my first year buying new music like crazy. In order.
Paradise lost- Believe in nothing
Agalloch- the mantle
Shadow's Fall- art of balance
arch enemy- wages of sin
Soilwork- Natural Born Chaos
Lacuna Coil- Comalies
In Flames- Reroute to remain
Immortal- Sons of northern darkness
Black label society- 1919 eternal
Down- a bustle in your hedgerow

years later I found agalloch, And that album climbed high up a list that had been in place for a long time. Nostalgia may be at work here but imo this is one of my favorite years for metal music. What's amazing is 2002 I probably bought maybe 20 to 30 albums which by later standards was not a lot, for this year to be so stacked is kind of amazing.

no that weird actually they were stoner rock pretty much so yeah kind of makes sense the subtitle would reference zeppelin.
