Topic: Long time no see NOW HELP ME!

Hi guys, your old pal King Kracka here. Hope all is well for everyone. I myself have been busy chasing a one year old around in case you had wondered where I've been for the last year (and you've wondered...right? Guys...?)

Anyway, I hate to catch up and then beg for your money but that is exactly what I am going to do. It is for a great cause though! I promise! My niece, Ashtyn, has epilepsy and has been diagnosed with it since she was about 1 year old. She is now nearly 8 and mountains of medication, therapy and even a brain surgery later it is still a very real part of all of our lives. Hers especially. That being said you can see why the fight against epilepsy is an important one in my family. So, we have an epilepsy 5k run coming up. I myself am not one for exercising but I am going to do it because I love this little girl and I want to raise money to fight epilepsy. In other words, if you can spare a few bucks, help a brother out and donate.

Is there anything special I can do to convince you to donate? Because I'm open to suggestions and giving sexual favors.

If nothing else fellas, it is good to say hello again. I still love this community and try to pop in and read a few threads when I can. Toss a few prayers my nieces way because they can never hurt. Thanks again, guys!

Hemispherectomy? I ask because a co-worker's young son had one recently, and I wonder how small the world is. Also the procedure is absolutely fascinating. Regardless, drops in the bucket.

Speaking of surgery... and I know this is a few weeks late, but I'm sorry about Jamaal Charles' hands. Do you think the doctors will be able to remove the butter?

It was indeed a hemispherectomy! It is an amazing surgery. You never think about essentially operating on half a brain or realize it is even possible. In all honesty it has made a huge difference in her life. Physically the right side of her body is considerably weaker than her left, though it typically has been her whole life. There has been a lot of physical therapy to help with that and help retrain the half of her brain. Mentally she has made leaps and bounds. She isn't at the same level of her peers and she never will be, but, it has been so amazing to hear her speech become more clear and see her brain doing a better job in general.

You really know how to hurt a guy.
